The trek will begin from a rocky ascent starting from Pantwari, a place near Dehradun-Mussoorie, and on the way ahead, you will reach the trail that enters the grove of oaks and rhododendrons. You will be welcomed with summer blossoms and greenery, while winter comes with an abundance of snow. The campsite will be at the edge of the forest after the night becomes clear. You overlook the undulations of the Lesser Himalayan green slopes expanding far and beyond. The trail takes you up to the Nag Tibba base, Known for the famous temple which is dedicated to the serpent god (Naag Devta), and from there, you will reach the top of the Nag Tibba Mountain. Moving ahead, you can view the sight of gradually unveiling the Gangotri group of peaks. From the high point of Nag Tibba Mountain, from the top of Nag Tibba Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath, and Chanabang, all are absolutely mesmerizing snow peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas, can be seen.
