Spiti is a cold desert and winters bring out the extreme side of it. Shimla - Kalpa
We will reach Shimla by morning and the Spiti Valley Winter Expedition begins by hitting the road from Shimla. We pass through popular towns of Sarahan and Rampur-Bushahr before entering the spectacular Kinnaur Valley. Before entering Kalpa, we catch a glimpse of the famous Kinner Kailash Peak-said to be the summer adobe of Lord Shiva.

Kalpa - Giu - Tabo
With the spine chilling cold welcoming you in the next morning, get excited for your upcoming adventurous time in Spiti. Have you ever witnessed snows with a close view? Have you ever had a drive on roads covered with snow? If not, this will be the drive of your life. Witnessing the typical winter Spiti scenes, we will reach to Giu Monastery. Its one of the forgotten monastery of Spiti region which still has 800 years old mummy of a monk. Go to Tabo is a crazy ride, and you will be in a small village located at the Indo-China border in the Trans Himalaya region.
Overlooking by hald frozen Spiti River, it gives a chance to enjoy 360 view of mountain range. The main attraction of this place is Tabo monastery. Nothing could be more beautiful than spending alone time at such places. Chill, relax, have dinner and go to bed.
Tabo - Pin Valley - Kaza
The further journey will place your hearts in Kaza, the capital of Spiti, a completely frozen world. During this journey, you will be confronted with Pin Valley National Park, an abode to magnificent flora and fauna of high Himalayas.
Just after this, Kaza will welcome you with a wonder sprinkling on your face directly. You will be staying at a homestay in Kaza for that night.
Kaza - Langza - Komic - Hikkim - Langza
Travelling to some of the famous sleepy villages nearby. Kaza, completely blanketed by fresh snow will create a mesmerizing view of a typical snow desert around. Wake up and enjoy these unusual moments of life.
Once you get out of Kaza, you will be on the zigzag uphill drive to the countryside of Spiti. Snow will keep wondering you in a large amount and magnificent beauty. The first village will be Langza, which is famous for the Buddha Statue and fossils. Just after it, we will visit Komic village, which is the World's highest motorable village.
Don't forget to miss panoramic views of mighty Himalayas. As we get down from Komic, surrounded landscapes of Spiti unravels the most dramatic scenery on the way, The next one is Hikkim, which has the world's highest post office. All of these sleepy villages of Spiti are profound storytellers in their own ways.
For a cosy night, we will get back to our homestay in Kaza.
Waking up leisurely, get ready for next adventure after having breakfast in next morning. Fro Kaza, we will head towards the most iconic building of Spiti region. Ki monastery is a perfect treat to eyes the way it's located in a cascade manner over the hills that can be seen beautifully with the bird-eye view. Don't forget to be among those peacefully living monks as their life is nothing less than two words of wisdom.
An adventurous way from Ki takes us to Kibber, and we will be in a village that is a very frequent destination for snow leopards to pay a visit.
Not only snow leopards, but you can witness a lot of variety of Himalayan Ibex, Red Fox, Bharal and other animals around.
There is one suspension bridge which connects Kibber village to Chicham village. This bridge is Asia's highest suspension bridge, and a sight to visit.
Just after exploring Chicham, we will get back to our homestay in Kaza for another rocking night.
Kaza - Sangla
Today, we will start our return journey. Passing through all the amazing places we visited, we would be again back on the old Himalayan-Tibet road.
Enjoy the scenery, and feel the potency of fresh air blowing out of snow-covered mountains. Reach Sangla by evening.
Overnight stay in Sangla.
Sangla - Shimla - Delhi
The last day of the trip will be something like this, being on road, hugging the cool breeze of high- altitude Himalayas, reminiscing about the memories of this trip and feeling happy. Reach Shimla by evening and board the Volvo bus.
Back To Delhi
We'll reach Delhi by early morning and our trip ends here.
Trip schedule is subjected to change as per road, weather and other unavoidable conditions so take a day or two in the buffer. This is not an ordinary place its "Spiti".
Only Team members have the right to take a decision depending on the above.
Any extra cost (Transportation/ Accommodation) arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances or change in law will be extra.
Any stay apart from the fixed schedule (as per the itinerary) will be extra.
Note 1: The itinerary is subject to favorable weather and road conditions. In case of bad weather and inaccessibility to certain destinations, we will try our best to make alternate plans. Though we do not consider refunds, we will reconsider it on case to case basis. We will try to refund you as much as we can if the tour gets canceled before the 3rd day of your tour, depending on the cancellation charges levied to us by hotels.
Note 2: The temperatures in Spiti Valley dip up to -20 degree Celsius in winters. We advise the clients to buy suitable clothing and gear for winters. People of Spiti live in this place throughout the year without expensive warm wear so there is nothing to be afraid of. The homestays are well insulated with a traditional/electric heater in the rooms. The homestays will have dry compost toilets in winter.
Note3: Most hotels will be closed in Spiti during winters, only homestays will be available. At other places, we will provide you hotels. We will provide you heated rooms at Homestays in Spiti and at hotels in other places. Homestays will have common dry pit compost toilets.

The organizer & Eventskite reserves the right to evict any camper anytime without any refund if his/her actions violate any rules.
All guests must carry a valid Government Id proof.
We will not entertain any refunds/adjustments in case of any natural factors arising during the trip which might result in a change in the itinerary/transportation due to which any extra cost is beared. That cost has to be beared by the clients only.
Cost and consequences arising due to any force major situations due to unforeseen circumstances like natural calamities, political disturbances, health issues, delays/cancellations, things beyond our control, etc will be borne by the client.
Any damage to our booked properties/transportation by any individual will be charged from him/her only. Any injury during any activity, we will not be responsible for any mishappenings
